The unique Lumorinse
The oral health revolution starts here
The basis of the superior antibacterial efficacy of Lumoral treatment is the light-activated Lumorinse. This innovative antibacterial mouthwash targets plaque on the tooth surface with microscopic precision, maintaining a healthy bacterial balance in the mouth and protecting the mouth's beneficial flora.
Lumorinse is the only mouthwash that specifically targets dental plaque and removes up to 99.998% of harmful bacteria.
By effectively controlling oral bacteria, Lumorinse can help reduce the risk of bacteria entering the bloodstream and causing systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other serious health problems associated with poor oral health.
In dentistry, the active ingredient of Lumorinse, indocyanine green, has been used as a photosensitizer in laser-activated antibacterial therapy. Lumoral’s patented LED lights now enable this treatment to be done at home, making it easier to achieve the full benefits of the therapy.
Ingredients: mannitol, xylitol, ascorbic acid, sodium bicarbonate, polyvidone, indocyanine green, magnesium stearate, silica and peppermint flavouring.
Active substance: indocyanine green 7,0 mg.

FAQ
Lumorinse is a medical device for use with Lumoral.
How does Lumorinse work?
Lumorinse water-soluble tablets are dissolved in a small amount of water (30 ml).
When swished, the dye adheres precisely to the bacteria in the dental plaque.
On its own, Lumorinse has no antibacterial effect, but when activated by light from the Lumoral device, it produces a powerful antibacterial effect targeted at plaque bacteria.
After use, teeth are always brushed thoroughly with toothpaste.
What does Lumorinse contain?
The active ingredient in Lumorinse is the indocyanine green dye. Indocyanine green is not absorbed in the digestive tract, so there is no harm in accidentally swallowing Lumorinse. In Lumoral treatment, the mouth rinse is just supposed to be swished and spat out.

The other ingredients in Lumorinse are the usual tablet excipients.

Indocyanine green has been approved for medical use since 1958. It has been used intravenously in medical imaging and diagnostics, for example in cardiological imaging or liver metabolism monitoring.
For this use it is considered safe and well tolerated.
In dentistry, indocyanine green has been used as a light trigger for laser light-activated antibacterial treatment.
Lumoral's dual-light action enables the treatment to be administered regularly at home, maximizing its benefits.
Does Lumorinse stain your teeth?
Lumorinse is water-soluble, and its colour dissolves under Lumoral light, so it will not stain your teeth, fillings, or crowns.
Lumoral may even have a slight whitening effect, as it helps remove stains, particularly those caused by dental plaque and bacteria.
Does Lumorinse have a strong taste?
Lumorinse is a very mild-tasting mouthwash that does not leave a bitter taste like many mouthwashes or toothpastes can. The mouthwash contains a small amount of peppermint flavouring.
What if I swallow Lumorinse by accident?
Lumorinse is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is not harmful if swallowed. However, the aim is to try to swish the Lumorinse around in the mouth and spit it out.
